Volunteers

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department Volunteer Program supports the department’s public safety mission by assisting various divisions within the department as needed.  Volunteers also assist with vehicle‑related issues throughout the city.

Volunteers:

  • Address abandoned vehicles
  • Address parking issues
  • May issue parking related citations
  • Coordinate vehicle tows when authorized

Through these efforts, the program enhances neighborhood safety, improves traffic flow, and helps maintain community standards.

Anyone interested in volunteering at the Police Department can contact Volunteer Coordinator Terry Drube at (208) 666-5732
