Tree Removal & Replacement

Although tree removal is a last resort, there are circumstances when it is necessary. An arborist can help decide whether or not a tree should be removed. Professionally trained arborists have the skills and equipment to safely and efficiently remove trees.

A permit is required for the removal of trees within the public rights-of-way. When trees are removed from public land, including the rights-of-way, a replacement tree is planted. The new tree does not necessarily have to be in the same location as the tree removed.

The List of Approved Trees is not currently available as we update our site for accessibility. If you need this file in the meantime, ✉ email us to request it . We appreciate your understanding.
