Voter Requirements

Deadline to Register

Idaho has "Same Day Registration." This means you can register at the polling place in your precinct on Election Day.

Qualifications to Register to Vote

You must:

• be eighteen (18) years of age
• be a citizen of the United States
• have resided in the City of Coeur d'Alene for at least thirty (30) days preceding the next election or in an area that the City has annexed within thirty (30) days of election.

If you have two (2) residences, you must declare one of these to be your primary residence for voting purposes. Under no circumstances may a person be registered in both locations.
