Directions

From I-90, take Northwest Boulevard south, and turn right on Mullan Road. The park is located on the right-hand side of Mullan. Parking is located next to the Memorial Field Grandstand, as well as around the corner on the opposite end of the park.

In 1995, the first Coeur d'Alene skatepark was constructed next to Memorial Field. Over the following 25 years, service clubs, local skaters, the Parks and Recreation Department, and an outpouring of community support helped to improve and add to the site's amenities. In 2011, a local group of skateboard and bike enthusiasts worked to raise awareness of the need for a new and improved skatepark. Through this effort, funds were secured for conceptual drawings to include the new skatepark in the Four Corners project. In 2017, the local Urban Renewal Development board approved partial funding for a new 14,000 square foot skatepark with the remainder paid for with the Parks Capital Improvement Fund. Construction was completed in the fall of 2018. This new skatepark now serves as a regional draw to skaters and sees a large amount of use.
