Public Art "Stegosaurus Bike Rack"

This art concept was initially submitted for the 4th Street/Midtown Place-Making Project, in which the Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission issued a Call to Artists in 2009 for four free-standing sculptures which could also serve as bike racks.  Although this proposal was not selected for the 4th Street/Midtown project, Sorenson Elementary requested the bike rack for their school.  On November 17, 2009, the Arts Commission voted to commission the art work, and it was dedicated on May 18, 2012.
