Public Art "Mudgy & Millie"

Acquired in 2008 by the Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission as a donation from the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Foundation. Five (5) bronze statues of Mudgy the Moose and Millie the House, characters from a children's book entitled "Mudgy & Millie in Coeur d'Alene" written by local author, Susan Nipp. The project was sponsored by the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Foundation and funding was obtained through private contributions and fund raising efforts totaling over $120,000.00. The Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission contributed funds for installation of the statues.
